This is Takashi, a hardware engineer. When I’m doing intricate tasks like soldering or programming every day, I often feel the need to refresh myself in a vast and open world. That’s one of the reasons I fell in love with scuba diving, and I’ve been doing it for almost 20 years now.

Before I joined the company, I was already an Atmoph Window user, starting with the first generation of products. As a user, I always thought it would be great to be able to view underwater scenes on Atmoph Window. After joining Atmoph, through a diving friend’s introduction, I had the opportunity to meet underwater photographer Yasushi Kagi, and despite being a shy engineer, I desperately explained my idea. He agreed to help us by capturing underwater landscapes for us. It was Atmoph’s first underwater footage, and after much trial and error with other team members, we finally managed to release one of the most memorable pieces—Underwater Stage Reef. It was truly a moving moment.

Atmoph’s underwater scenes allow you to experience the vivid and beautiful reality of the ocean. Of course, the view of the underwater world in person is amazing, but after trying scuba diving, I realized there are many things you need to be cautious about: “The tank and gear are heavy…,” “If I don’t monitor the air supply, I could suffocate…,” “There are dangerous creatures that might sting or bite, so I need to be careful…,” “The current is strong, so if I stop swimming, I’ll get carried away…” There are many situations where you need to stay alert. Sometimes, after a dive, instead of feeling refreshed, I end up exhausted.

Watching underwater landscapes while sipping coffee and relaxing, it’s a unique experience that you can only have with Atmoph Window, unlike diving. When diving, just breathing changes the amount of air in your lungs, and it causes you to float or sink. There’s also the current, and it’s hard to keep your body or perspective fixed. The steady underwater scenes shot with Atmoph’s tripod are images even divers rarely see.

In addition to underwater scenes, Atmoph Window lets you enjoy landscapes from countries, mountains, and even the world of space and fantasy—places that are hard or impossible to visit in real life. While it’s best to see places with your own eyes when traveling, it’s not something you can do frequently. Some people are not fond of traveling, and you can’t visit the world of space or fantasy (though some may get the chance to visit space^^). If you can watch beautiful landscapes during your daily coffee breaks, many people might feel their quality of life improve. Dive into the world with Atmoph Window during your daily coffee break! Please give it a try.
